For Pride Month, Gap, Inc. brought a meaningful piece of LGBTQ+ history into the heart of its headquarters. Featured within the atrium was a replica of Gilbert Baker's original Pride flag, first created in San Francisco in 1978 at Harvey Milk's request—a symbol whose legacy continues to resonate decades later.

The installation was designed to draw visitors into that story. A large-scale hand-dyed rainbow textile piece cascaded through the space, framing the flag with color, movement, and texture, while a mirrored floor extended the experience beyond the object itself and into the surrounding architecture.

Drop Works was entrusted with fabricating the installation's key physical elements, including the custom textile structure, mirrored floor, acrylic display case, pedestal, and rigging system. Every component was built to support the presentation of the historic flag while helping create a space that invited people to pause, engage, and connect with its story.
